At FHJC we know that community is central to Judaism. That’s why the FHJC Religious School is a learning community. We are grounded in a partnership between our warm and inspiring leadership, our caring and knowledgeable faculty and our diverse and welcoming families. We intentionally foster a community that nurtures and supports all our members, our families and our Religious School children.
FHJC Religious School is a place that feels like home – where both children and families build lifelong relationships. Making Jewish friends, maintaining a Jewish identity, and feeling connected to the broader Jewish community, are an integral part of our pedagogic philosophy and our curriculum. Our students know that wherever they go in life, they will always have a place within the Jewish community, and at FHJC.
We cultivate an active and inclusive learning environment for children ages 3 through 18 to create a profound connection with Jewish tradition, Jewish heritage and Israel. Our school provides a welcoming haven, physically, spiritually and intellectually, where community is valued and cultivated, and opportunities for Jewish living and observance abound.
We are dedicated to nurturing each child so that their Jewish values and heritage enable them to thrive not just as a Jew but as a person. Click here for more information.
