Creating a community of learners is a cornerstone of Forest Hills Jewish Center. We start with PJ Friday Nights & Shabbat On The Stoop where tots and those who love them enjoy Jewish mindfulness, songs and stories. Our child-centered Toddler, 3K and Pre-K Early Childhood Programs provide a superb, well-balanced, and nurturing general education, and offer a rich Judaic curriculum as well. Our K-12 Religious School engages children and families in a creative and meaningful exploration of our Jewish traditions, community, prayer and Hebrew so that each child can thrive. Our teachers and clergy mentor FHJC students as they grow into proud and knowledgeable bar and bat mitzvah celebrants and active members of the Jewish community.
