Shacharit on the Beach For All

Date: Sunday, 9/10

What you need:  Bring a water bottle and chair if you don’t want to sit on the sand.   Wear sunscreen, a bathing suit if you want to go in the water and a hat.  There will be a lifeguard during surfing and from noon to 12:30.

Agenda for the morning:

9-9:15  Coffee and welcome, snacks, id tags

9:15-10:00 Shacharit/Morning prayers and songs by the beach.  Center yourself and shower the world with blessings

10:00-11:30 Surfing, Family Choice activities, Adult Learning

11:30-noon Shmooze, swim, relax

We will be meeting on the beach.  Look for the SkudinSurf tent.

 Driving

2 Riverside Blvd
Long Beach, NY 11561

Skudin Surf free parking lot is located on the corner of Riverside Blvd and Shore Road, the large empty lot. Our check in tents are on the beach. Walk to beach between Riverside and Long Beach Blvd Beach.

LIRR Long Beach Branch

The walk from the LIRR station to FHJC on the Beach is approx. 15 minutes

Arrive at Long Beach Station, walk south toward the beach, turn left (east) and walk 1 block between Riverside Blvd Beach and Long Beach blvd on the beach
