Purim

Join us for a Purim celebration throughout the day.

At 9:15 am, hear the Megillah reading illustrated by a powerpoint that includes photos of FHJC children acting out the story with English captions.

For Members only : At 10:15 am, a project for everyone to do that fulfills the mitzvah of matanot l’evyonim, gifts to the poor. We will make beautiful and nourishing bean soup mixes to donate to the Commonpoint Food Pantry. Or/And make a family tzedakah box Then, enjoy a Purim seudah, feast. Brunch for the whole family [Adults only – is that a cocktail before lunch? Yes!] And a bargain! Free for RS and early childhood families. RSVP here!

At 11:30 am, A performance open for all to enjoy.

At 12 noon for 5 and under, at 12:30pm for all others, the Purim carnival begins with bounce house, inflatable obstacle course, crafts and games.
