The Forest Hills Jewish Center is one of the largest Jewish communities in Queens. Our warm and welcoming congregation was established in 1931, and has remained a neighborhood pillar ever since.
As an egalitarian Conservative synagogue, Jews from all backgrounds and in all stages of life can find a spiritual home here. Singles, families (including interfaith families), and members of the LGBTQ community are all welcome at FHJC.
Likewise, our programming has something for everyone, from worship and learning opportunities to social action programs and schmoozing at kiddush after Saturday morning services. Families with children can also take advantage of our exceptional Religious School and Early Childhood Center.
If you would like more information about membership at the Forest Hills Jewish Center or would like a tour of the building, please contact Donna Bartolomeo, Executive Director, at [email protected] or 718-263-7000 x 293, or the membership committee, at [email protected].
